Respiratory Neuromuscular Stimulator

Respower^TM Respiratory Neuromuscular Stimulator——Product Description

Through the 6 pairs of external electrodes, the device performs synergistic feedback electrical stimulation on the phrenic nerve and abdominal muscles, regulates the diaphragm and abdominal muscles regularly, increases tidal volume, promotes CO, excretion in the alveoli, alleviates dyspnea symptoms, gradually enhances the muscle strength and endurance of respiratory muscles, improves athletic ability and improves the quality of life.

According to the inspiratory and expiratory rhythm of the patients, individualized breathing parameters are set up, and the inspiratory breath sounds are played automatically and thevisual signals are amplified and reduced. The electrical stimulation therapy is synchronized with the patients' spontaneous breathing, and the treatment process is more comfortable and efficient.

It is mainly used for pulmonary rehabilitation treatment of patients with respiratory impairment, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic respiratory failure, pulmonary hypertension, thoracoabdominal surgery, etc. It can also be used for pulmonary rehabilita-tion in critically ill patients, and it can treat acquired ICU weakness, diaphragm dysfunction, and help to extubate as soon as possible.

Respower^TM Respiratory Neuromuscular Stimulator —Working Principle

Phrenic Nerve Electrode

Abs Electrode

Through six pairs of external electrodes, the diaphragm and abdominal muscles are electrically stimulated to make regular contraction of diaphragm and abdominal muscles, enhance muscle strength and endurance, and promote respiratory rehabilitation.

Respower ^TM Respiratory Neuromuscular Stimulator ——Application in COVID-19

2019 Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Respiratory Rehabilitation Guidance "for Novel Coronavirus pneumonia patients, each patient needs to develop detailed respiratory function assessment plan, and then formulate personalized rehabilitation treatment measures, targeted breathing exercises, enhance muscle strength, strengthen lung capacity, diaphragm function exercise, nutritional support treatment, strengthen psychological intervention, and to each discharged patient to follow up closely.

The Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Treatment Plan (Trial Seventh Edition) is a part of invasive mechanical ventilation for critically ill patients: early awakening patients and pulmonary rehabilitation.

Respiratory muscle training is an important part of pulmonary rehabilitation treatment, but active training requires patients to adhere to self-management for a long time, and passive therapy such as neuromuscular electrical stimulation is more easily accepted.
